A battle for a mysterious relic goes terribly array when it turns the members of Team Prime into sparklings, and Optimus and the kids suddenly find themselves in a position they never imagined. It's a week of new experiences for the Prime as he finds out just how far he can stretch his capabilities - and finds some new ones along the way while trying to figure a way to restore his team to normal size. Action, humor, and some heartwarming time.

Fifteen year old Miko Nakadai thought she was invincible. Miko thought, just like every teenager does, could get away with one small prank but it appeared that one small prank had sent the Autobots and humans alike over the edge. Now she felt as if no one cared, as if she was a no one among a robotic and human race. After a week of nothing but silence from her friends she decides that it might be best just to not go back to the autobot base no matter how much she was talked into going. She had her mind set and that was final. Miko's moment of weakness unfortunately caught the attention of the Decepticons, specifically Shockwave and unfortunately the predicon king himself. The Autobots find an energon mine, however, so do the Decepticons. Due to an attack from the Decepticons' warship, the Ground Bridge overloads, enabling Rachet to bridge Team Prime back to base. And, to complicate things more, the kids, Jack Darby, Rafael Esquivel, and Mako Nakadai have come with the Autobots. Now damaged from the ambush, Optimus Prime, leader of the Autobots, must get himself and the kids back to base safely. Along the way, he ends up strengthening the bond with the children in different ways he expected as they learn more about himself. But of course, the Decepticons are on the lookout for Prime and his charges...
