They move to the Night Fury tribe, which is located in a village called Berk. And there's a reason, something that Astrid doesn't know. Each werewolf has a mate, and in Astrid's old tribe, her mate was no where in sight. Hiccup hasn't found his mate either, and in order for him to become alpha, he must find his mate. On one ordinary day at school, Hiccup gets a sniff of something different, and something familiar. This would be the scent of his mate. On the same day, Astrid wakes up with a strange marking on her neck, the marking of her mate. Only one other person has this same marking, and this person would be Hiccup. There's only one problem, they don't necessarily like each other. Hiccup is a black werewolf with green eyes. Astrid is a white werewolf with blue eyes. What will happen when the two werewolves meet? Until One Day, he helps a lioness named Rani, her Night Pride and her parents who are lost, to reach their home to the Tree of Life after which he learns that living with friends is much better than living alone.
