Okay, so in my other story "The Contract", I had a little part in it with some fluffy Markimash goodness. I've decided to actually write a story based on that bit, with the backstory and what happened after Melody and Loki left. It'll be cute, maybe a little sad, maybe a little smutty, but there won't be cutting or suicide attempts like in other Markimash stories. Cover done by huey4ever.

Yami has broke up with Jess and is going to ask Mark to be his boyfriend in front of everyone at Pax East. Will Mark feel the same? When the cannibalistic behavior of a local man starts to spiral out of control, he goes after a young man. The cannibals obsession is stalled when he wants to keep the boy alive for his own twisted entertainment, but the boy is determined to escape the man. That is until the cannibal starts to fall for the boy and will stop at nothing to keep him for himself.

Maladaptive daydreaming: a proposed condition in which a person excessively daydreams or fantasizes, sometimes as a response to prior psychological trauma or abuse. Aaron Ash comes from a broke home full of abuse, alcoholism and drug use. Sometimes he finds himself in daydreams that depict a better life. He, of course, can tell his dream world from reality which troubles him. In his daydream he has a friend, his only friend. This boy goes by the name of Mark and he dreams that this 'Mark' helps him with his troubles. What if one day this Mark character that Aaron has created in his mind comes to life, and goes to his very school? He was stuck in a stupid awkward position again. Mark was quiet and he was actually blushing. Arron hadn't meant to say it, but Mark asked. Yami laughed nervously and told Mark that he had to get some sleep. Mark said bye and turned his computer off. He didn't sleep that night because he was thinking about his crush and that he did say yes rather quickly. Mark hadn't meant to ask him and he didn't mean to blush and he didn't mean to sit there like an idiot. It was just that Yami made him get nervous and he would loose his usual character around Yami because he liked him so much.

Mark and Aaron have been staying with each other for a few months now since Jess left Aaron. Aaron has fallen for Mark but does Mark feel the same? Valentines Day is coming up and Aaron wants to admit his feelings for mark before then. Will he do it? Though he doesn't feel that him and Mark are alone in the house. Mark's swears he's been seeing a shadow in the house. Something feels off and they both can feel it.
