I've gone to Camp Hemmings every year since the third grade, and every year, he's there too. Luke Hemmings. Son of Liz and and Andrew Hemmings, owners of Camp Hemmings. I don't want to come off as creepy, but I've watched Luke since that first July day when we were 8 years old. Watched, observed, lusted over; same thing. There was always something about that Hemmings boy that struck my curiosity. Not that I ever did anything about it; Luke had every other 8 year old girl's heart alongside mine. Now, 17 years old, and I've still never spoken a word to him. I'm not going to act delusional and think I'd ever have a shot with Luke. But it is my last summer at Camp Hemmings, and let's just say I'm gonna make sure it's one to remember.
