˙⋆✮ 𝑻𝒉𝒊𝒔 𝒃𝒐𝒐𝒌 𝒘𝒊𝒍𝒍 𝒉𝒆𝒂𝒍 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒘𝒂𝒚 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒏𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒓 𝒊𝒎𝒂𝒈𝒊𝒏𝒆𝒅. ───── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ───── "Bataiye, kon hai hum aapke?" she cried, broken. In two strides he reached her, grabbed her arm, and turned her around sharply, pulling her into his arms. His arms locked around her trembling body as if he'd never let her go. "Jaan ho tum meri," He whispered harshly against her hair, hugging her tighter as she wept into his chest. *************** Three fucking years since she left. And yet, it feels like yesterday. I didn't stop her. I watched her pack. Silent. Cold. Pretending like I didn't care. Like her walking out of the door wasn't tearing something apart inside me. Maybe I thought if I didn't beg, if I didn't plead, I'd come off stronger. But all I did was let the only woman I ever loved slip through my fingers. And every goddamn day since, I've been living with that choice.

It ought to be one of the most memorable nights of her life, and rightfully it was. But in an unfathomable way. He slammed a hefty pile of paper over the wooden coffee table, with the words Terms & Conditions stretching across the A4 sheet of paper. Underlined and Bold. Underneath were uncountable bullet points, and microscopic letters that filled the whole paper. Perplexed, her tired eyes looked up at him. His usual stern look was smeared across his face, as he stood tall before her, in a tuxedo with his sleeves rolled up. She looked a little further, at his assistant, who was almost always around him, hugging a bunch of files or an iPad; his assistant turned away, avoiding the eye contacts. "One year. Maximum, two. Three Hundred Thousand a month", he utters and the look of sheer confusion on her face intensifies. "It's a contract, Navya ma'am", eventually, his assistant steps in. A contract? 300K a month? What the hell is happening on the night they got married? Her silence persists, and he let's out a loud sigh. "I'll pay you three lakh rupees to be my wife, but I'm not making any commitments", he blurts out and she stared at him, blankly for a whole moment, while her Sabyasachi bridal lehenga weighed down on her. "You work if you want. Stay home if you want. Go out in the middle of the night. Come back home whenever you want. It doesn't matter. I don't care who you're with, what you're doing and where you are. This marriage is nothing but a legal piece of paper. But whatever you do, the media shouldn't utter a word about us under the negative light. Everything I expect from you, I've written it down on the contract and every little thing here has a price".

"She is a slut" "She is a bitch" "She is a fucking whore" "You see her? She ain't good company at all" "Why does she have to be in our college?" You would hear such words for Agni Khandelwal. Her fault? She is just another bad girl, whom everybody hates more than envying. x x x x "Why, he is damn hot" "He is a playboy" "He ain't good news" "He is so cool" "He reeks of popularity and power" This is what you will hear for Darshan Raval. His deed? He is just another bad boy, whom every girl wants and every boy fears. You see, this is not anymore a story where you will see a goody-goody character. This is a story of pure lust. Love? Throw it out of the window. But, then again, this story is incomplete without this factor. So, maybe we will add that? Now, before you jump into this I want to warn you, that this story includes dark theme, drug and alcohol abuse and maybe some mature content you might want to imagine. Yeah, I know you all 😉😉.
