It's been weeks since the Barrier between the Isle and Auradon broke down. Mal, Evie, Urson, Carlos, Jay, Uma, and more are planning to throw a huge party as a celebration, Addison, Zed, and the rest of Seabrook high is planning it's annual spring dance. But when both worlds create a teleportation device, they both malfunction trapping the VKs (along with Ben, Melody, Audrey, Jane, Chad, Hades, and Doug) in Seabrook. Stuck in Seabrook, the VKs fear an unwelcome villain could wreak vengeance on the kingdom and their new life. To make matters worse, a dark force unexpectedly threatens both Auradon and Seabrook, as was told years ago. As their future hangs in the balance, the VKs, cheerleaders, zombies, werewolves, and vampires must band together in their most epic battle yet. Will they be able to see the light of Auradon ever again, or will they remain in Seabrook...trapped forever?
