Queen Victoria - one of the most famous and influential women in history. Under her reign Great Britain prospered like never before and became the world's number 1 leading power. Hundreds of books, series and movies are telling us her story until today. But what about the other Victoria, the Princess Royal and first child of the legendary queen, who was once destined to become Germany's most revolutionary empress? Out of love Vicky married the emperor-to-be Frederick Wilhelm of Prussia, called Fritz within the family, but besides that it had been a political match, for her father Albert had projected a great mission onto his daughter: To transform his liberal ideas of a constitutional monarchy in Germany into reality. How can it still be, that almost nobody remembers the mother of Queen Victorias beloved grandson Kaiser Wilhelm II.? This historical fiction takes a closer look on the woman behind her cruel fate, that would thwart all her plans of making Germany a more liberal and democratic country with her husband. Vicky's story, though almost being overlooked nowadays, shall not be forgotten.

The magnificent first season of the TV series "Victoria," written by Daisy Goodwin and produced by ITV and PBS for Masterpiece, has brought its characters so vibrantly to life that I have been inspired to write my first fan fiction. I hope Masterpiece Producer Rebecca Eaton has noticed how many fans want to imagine that the relationship between Queen Victoria and Lord Melbourne had turned out differently. Maybe if all of us fans clamor loudly enough, PBS would think about producing another show, using some of the same actors, sets and wardrobe, in which our wishes could be fulfilled. To see Jenna Coleman and Rufus Sewell act out something like my teleplay would be such a thrill, while we're waiting for Season 2 of "Victoria." My teleplay would begin immediately following Victoria's line, "I think you have it already," in S1:E3, "Brocket Hall." (I think all my fellow Melbourne fans will know exactly when and where that is, without my explaining further.) I have no knowledge about Queen Victoria and her story. I'm working on it but for the moment this is totally inspired by the amazing universe that created Daisy Goodwin and also by two of the best actors in the whole world who's chemistry on the show is so strong that it inspires me a lot. I named, Jenna Coleman as Queen Victoria and Tom Hughes as Prince Albert.
