Two phantom thieves. One city. One stage.
Tokyo has long belonged to the legendary Kaito Kid, the gentleman thief whose magic tricks and flawless escapes baffle police and captivate the world. But when a new player swings into town - a mysterious acrobat in crimson and gold - the spotlight shifts.
Known only as Vespara, she moves like a ribbon in the wind, vanishing into the night with treasures and secrets alike. Her performances are dazzling, her escapes impossible, and her calling card chilling: "Thank you for watching."
But Vespara's heists hide a deeper purpose - the truth behind a tragedy ten years ago, when a floating circus burned to ash in the middle of the sea. Now, in a city too small for two legends, Kid has met his greatest rival yet... and the show has only begun.
Teaser:
The moon hung over Tokyo like a silver spotlight.
Kaito Kid stood poised on the museum rooftop, the jewel in hand, his white cape snapping in the wind. The perfect heist. The perfect getaway.
Then, a crimson silk rope dropped from the shadows above, swaying in the wind.
A figure slid down the fabric in a controlled spin, boots touching the rooftop with catlike precision. Gold embroidery shimmered under the moonlight, a half-mask hiding her smile.
"I'll be taking that," she said, plucking the jewel from his fingers in one seamless motion.
Kid's eyes narrowed. "And you are...?"
The thief gripped the silk, stepping back toward the roof's edge.
"Tonight's act was brief but unforgettable. Thank you for watching."
With a backward dive, she wrapped herself in the crimson fabric and vanished into the night - the silk reeling upward into the darkness as her laughter echoed on the wind.
