It's been about a year since the thirteen of them woke from the living hell that was the Killing Game. Ever since, they've been living together in a strange new world where their old memories are next to meaningless. Kokichi still feels the effects of the game a year later; although, he only has himself to blame for not being able to get past his guilt. Still, he hopes to be able to, one day, feel like he has earned his place among the others and maybe even feel like he can belong. Why is he going out of his way to regain everyone but Shuichi? What's the truth? This is what Shuichi will find out. And eventually, he will find the difference between Kokichi's lies and truth.
