A half gem hybrid arrives in beach city

This is about the story of a half gem finding a home in Beach City, becoming a Crystal Gem, controlling his abilities and living his life with his newfound family. This is not a romance story with Steven Universe Im a dumbass so sorry if this is bad. Also I know I'm very late in making a Steven Universe fanfic, however when I watched Steven Universe, which was when it was first coming out, I wasn't making fanfics yet, so as I have recently rewatched the entire series I thought I would make one now. (This is getting rewritten, at some point)

Story Progress: Currently being Written _________ The dawn of Homeworld began with Black and White Diamond starting the empire of the Great Diamond Authority. However, as Homeworld grew the two drifted apart. Black was quickly overshadowed by the creation of Yellow and Blue Diamond, leaving him with the title of the Forgotten Diamond. Slowly undercut and eventually subdued by his fellow diamonds he became Homeworld's greatest disappointment. But then came Pink Diamond and that's when everything changed for better or worse. (I don't own Steven Universe I only own my OC Black Diamond, fusions, the cover for the book, and added perspectives to the story.) NOTE: The Beginning of this story is under revision.
