"There's always light at the end of the tunnel, you just have to hold onto even the flimsiest rays of hope." _Aishatuh M Aisha Humaira, an ardent and sassy young lady aspires to become a journalist. She's a great humanitarian who believes that issues like a society's judgemental tendencies, religious conflicts and the likes of them shouldn't be a country's day to day routine, but issues that should only be read about in history books of past generations. However, growing up in the northern part of Nigeria seems much big of a challenge for her to be able to change the mentality some people posess, of journalism being an improper course of study to any girl brought up in a modest arewa home. With an unsupportive family and a judgemental society, can she achieve her ultimate goal agaisnt all odds by becoming a journalist? When her world comes crashing down in the process with a dream that seems too far from reach, will she relinquish or stand on her ground? Find out on this rollercoaster journey where life isn't just a bed full of roses but full of thorns as well, capable of pricking those determined to come out of it as winners. Tears of pain and joy will be shed, hearts will be broken, hopes will be shattered and lastly rays of hope will surely bring about light at the end of the tunnel. [new version] • Malik & Rouhuh • Not all smiles make a happy person. Contrary to the misinterpreted fact that not all horns and forks make the devil. Sadiya Muhammad Yusuf. Having lost a father as well as a brother at her teenage years. Many might be stricken of a thought as to eternal loss of those who were meant to be the most important males in her life. It was not the defunct of any of them. Albeit with a sick mother, scales through all obstacles the universe had to offer - aiming right at the bullseye as a gynecologist. Right when she thought all was falling back into place, she loses her only confidante, supporter. Her only parent in the picture; dead. She never thought her life would be the same. But what happens when the person she convinced herself to loathe the most shows up after the past comes haunting her present? Royalty screams a lot. Power. Grace. Aristocracy. Fortitude. And most of all; Status. In the city of Yemen, comes no exception from the qualities of being Royal. When a prince by name, Zayan ibn Ahmer ibn Ayyub al-Qadim III, like a cliché, bumps into a lady shooting lasers at the man he finds her in the arms of. Nigeria had always been among his favorites, perhaps even more when all that shouldn't be said, was felt. Especially when he sets his eyes on her. Not the ideal incident, but enough to have his soul intertwined with her heart. Fatima Abdulmalik 2024. All Rights Reserved ©

Poor Ruwaida Mahmoud had to get married to her friend's brother, Turaad, a rich sophisticated Doctor not knowing she had signed a contract to save her life! _______________________________ Her eyes tinged with tears the moment she raised her head to look at him. All the while he spent talking to her, she had her head down, staring endlessly at her hands. His words filled with a sincerity which he had shown broke her to pieces. The most she could do was smile at him. Even if she wanted to, her words wouldn't be able to make sense. She had so much to say, so much to let out, but then, her vocals refused to let her. He held both her hands and smiled back, his other hand on the small hospital bed she had laid. "You scared me Waida, I almost passed out seeing you being trolled back into the ICU you know," He said, and laughed, ducking his head low, as the way he had acted replayed in his memory. She also chortled silently, not minding the tears that refused to stop, moments like this, always left her emotional. "I did? But I'm fine now ain't I," she asked and he placed a hand on his forehead, his overdramatic wife mode had just been turned on. "Yes you're, but please don't ever do that again," he said with a stern face. "Promise me," With an absentminded look in her eyes, she nodded and gave a quick reply. "Yes Muhammad, I promise," Love_ Silentwriter ☕️

"Listen to me Qurratul Ayn, before you go, I want to know; did I ever offend you? Is my love for you too little?" I can feel his hand hovering over mine. He wants to hold it, but he knows better than to do that. "Please, I don't want to do this now. My flight is in thirty minutes." I can feel the tears wetting my Niqab. "No! I want to know. Where did I go wrong? Was it money? I didn't feed you well? I didn't clothe you? My love wasn't enough for you? I need to know, all those years! You're seriously willing to throw them away like they were nothing?" A sob breaks out but I manage to hide it behind a cough. I take a silent deep breath and turn, my Niqab swaying and making a whip sound. "It's not like, they really were nothing! Look, I don't have it in me to explain myself. You said you'd give me whatever I want? Then leave me be. I never loved you okay! I never did, it was all a sham, a facade!" His hand that was looming over mine falls limp beside him and he staggers back. "You're lying." He laughs. It's as if he's trying to convince himself. I scoff. "You think so? Well take a look at this." His eyes fill with tears and he takes one of his hands and place it on his mouth. He can't believe that it's actually true. "Okay, Fa'iza." My heart breaks. He never calls me that, ever. "I know something is wrong, and wallahi I'm going to find it out and bring you back to my house in six months. I promise." I feel my heart squeeze knowing his promise can never come to pass, ever. Death is nearing me so nothing can be done. Absolutely nothing. * Ten years of loving, doting over each other and marriage, Fa'iza upped and suddenly said she wanted out of the marriage. After months of persuasion and blackmail, Bello let her go, but before she left, he made a promise. Would he be able to fulfill this promise? STARTED: COMPLETED:

The Final Book in The Dantata Series. Ahmed Shehu's heart is beaten and bruised, thanks to the woman he loved and was certain he'd spend the rest of his life with. Now his focus are on his three kids who are to stay comfortable and unaffected despite the chaos their mother has left behind. Suraiya Boukar Shehu has a lot of love to give and a background story she doesn't tell often. She's in Abuja for one reason; to take care of Ahmed Shehu's kids. Nothing else. The rule is simple. Ahmed and Suraiya won't stay as strangers but they won't be best friends. After all, they do have to work together to provide the very best for the kids. However, some rules are meant to be broken and in the most beautiful ways. When walls slowly come down and a cordial friendship blooms into something more, it isn't long before Suraiya and Ahmed are forced to make a decision; to come up with a solution to keep them together or to go their separate ways, forever... [P.S: Some love stories are majorly fluffy from start to finish. This is one of them.]
