Leading a normal life in a new town is hard when you have a crazy father living two doors down. Dagen is a new student at Sherwood High School, and all she wants is friends. She's soon accepted and all seems to be going well, but her schizophrenic father, who only has ten days at the house, is trying to wreak as much havoc as possible. From attempted murder to writing things on the walls, Dagen's wondering if her family will even be able to get him back to an institution.

Jaylynn has been in love with Elliot since she first saw him in seventh grade. She finally gets a chance to date him, when she meets a mysterious boy Aiden. He is full of secrets that Jaylynn is dying to find out. When Jaylynn knows Aiden's secret, it causes danger for not just Aiden, or not just Jaylynn, but both of them.
