As he was escaping with the heart, Te Ka, another who sought the heart, struck Maui down from the sky, losing the heart and Maui's fish hook. A mysterious figure had grabbed the heart of Te Fiti and disappeared into the darkness of the sea. Now, the darkness is coming closer and closer, swallowing all islands and destroying life.
