After Quackity finds himself fired from his only job at the club and evicted from his apartment, he takes cover in an alleyway while he tries to figure out how to make ends meet and survive the coming winter. Wilbur is still thinking about the guy at the club he had hooked up with many times. But when he finds him now living in an alleyway a few minutes from his house, he is determined to help in any way he can... and perhaps get the shorter male to fall for him along the way.

But while on a mission when he almost dies, he is saved by someone with a very accurate shot. He meets another assassin from a different agency, something he's never known of before. Of course seeing how skilled and attractive the other assassin is, he can't really just let him go... Quackity works for a different agency that wants to be better than all the rest, that means more missions and more training, most importantly: more rich. It takes a very long time to get up in the ranks and he has proven his worth there. But when tasked to kill a particularly dangerous assassin, he makes a few unwise decisions that he thinks are good... until he gets captured.
