NOW A PUBLISHED BOOK!! Centuries have passed since the Wars. In the beginning it was hatred and greed that filled the leaders of the old world, fueling them to take up arms against neighboring countries. Nations went to war against one another and soon all forms of government fell as chaos took over, leaving everyone to fend for themselves. Soon, mankind's destructive nature took over and left the majority of the world in ruin. Those that were left were quick to blame who was behind the demise of civilization itself. Over time, women gathered and began to believe that it was men who were responsible as they are temperate and quick to act on anger. But men blamed women who would deceive and manipulate them. This ultimately caused one last battle known as the Great War, causing thousands of fatalities until there was hardly anyone left. It was then that the few leaders that were left, now known as the High Kings and Queens, made a pact to never repeat the past. Men and women would live separately and never speak again, except every year a selected tribe from each gender would gather to procreate at the ceremony known as the Skabelse to keep the population arise. Rowan, a hardened warrior princess, is one of the many chosen as a tribute for her tribe, the Glade. Being raised to hate men, she sees this being worse than a death sentence. Will Rowan be able to look past her abhorrence for the opposite gender when she is paired with the handsome Prince from Rorik? She's a wild, free spirit who sees the good in everyone, and he's the hardened, bad-tempered loner who wants nothing to do with her-yet no matter how hard he tries to push her away, she's the one temptation he can't escape. *** He's never met someone with such a bubbly personality. Not to mention the wildness and odd phrases she says every five minutes. He hates it. He hates how he can't stay away from it. He hates what she does to him; it's not like him to chase after some girl. She gets under his skin like no other. She's never met someone with such a bad attitude. He's ill-mannered and menacing. The glare never seems to leave his face. Considering it all, she can't help but feel the attraction toward him. Dangerous attraction toward a seemingly dangerous man. Maybe it's the tattoos on his arm that gets her attention. Or maybe it's because she can tell there's hope for good under his rough exterior. And she's about to find it, whether he likes it or not. It's no secret that the two of them are complete and total opposites. *** "You like being called Sugar, don't you?" I tease, placing my toothbrush back after finishing. He does the same and gives me a side-eyed scowl. He grips my chin harshly and kisses me. My body temperature raises a good ten degrees and my right leg goes all wiggly. He pulls away. "You like it when I kiss you, don't you?" He teases the same way I did to him and I'm left blubbering. "I think both of our questions are rhetorical," I lower my voice up at him. His lip curls up into a smirk. *** #1 in Young Adult #9 in Badboy #1 in Cold #3 in Goodgirl #1 in Sweetheart #14 in Love *** *Warning* This story contains mature themes (language, scenes, etc.)

**Only the bonus chapter is paid, the rest of the story is (and will stay) free!!** Libby Marks-Whelan is decidedly not a lady. Kicked out of nearly every finishing school in the country, she's shocked when her demure, straight-laced cousin Ella invites her to the royal court as attendant during her debutante season. What Ella fails to realize, however, is that Libby's brand of mischief is exactly the kind of distraction Prince Andrew is looking for during his inaugural season as an eligible bachelor. Aeolin of Lothlorien has been traveling across Middle Earth for a little over a hundred years. After a loss struck her heart, Lothlorien was more of a reminder of it than a home. Aeolin decides to stop by the Woodland Realm to see a friend and, of course, meets the King of Mirkwood. Intrigued by how such a hard man could raise such a kind son, she tends to push her luck with the king and may enjoy it just a bit too much. But perhaps they have far more in common than they both realize? And perhaps the both of them will find something in the other that they've been searching for? *I DO NOT OWN LOTR OR THE HOBBIT.
