«"Is anything more beautiful than life itself?"
I stared up at the northern lights in awe. Russia was close, but not enough to make me cringe back in discomfort.
We stayed there for a bit before I was violently shaken out of my daze by a pair of strong hands.
"South Africa, are you listening?" India asked as I stared at the tall russian Countryhuman who was currently talking to UK in the boardroom.
I turned to look at her and tilted my head. "What?"
"Are you really going to partner up with Russia for your passion project?" India asked with concern laced in her voice. I sighed and nodded. "Also, it's not a passion project. It's a secure way of making sure the humans still trust us and keeping ourselves safe." I snapped before she held her hands in defence.
"That's boring, I say, we take the war to them." America chimed in. I glared at him in frustration.
No one listens to me.
No one hears me out on anything.
However, how will they be able to ignore me when I'm standing with the largest country in existence?
I felt eyes on me and turned to see those cold ones that sent shivers down my spine staring directly at me.»
