We are both seemingly seduced and repulsed by these acts of rebellion against the morals of society. Every day we are bombarded with crime stories, whether it's in the newspaper, on television, radio, or our computer. Some of these crimes are inconspicuous and easily forgotten, while others linger forever in our collective memory because of their shock and horror. This week in crime history will examine this seedy underworld with weekly installments of historical true crime stories. These are the stories of the people I have met during my over 20 year career in law-enforcement. They are all true. Some of them are ugly, others sad, but some are hopeful. Some of these people are on paths you can predict, others will surprise you. Whatever the case you will see that we all are a bit closer to each other than you think. We are all human and fall. Some of us get up. Some of us don't. There is something to learn from all of it.

You probably know him as Robin. That's what everyone knows him as. Many call him the Boy Wonder, a prodigy, a blessing on Gotham, bird boy, Batman's right hand man, the bat brat... Heck, you might even know him as Dick Grayson. Because that's what I knew him as. He was my best friend. Or at least I thought he was. I understand why he left. I really do.
