It's been less than a year since the hijacking of Jerome Horwitz Elementary. The children in Jerome Horwitz are now 5th graders, but virtually, everything seems the same as it was before. Well, that is, until a new student transfers to Jerome Horwitz. This new student is a 10 year old girl who calls herself "Lily Rose", and immediately she reminds everyone of Melvin Sneedly, Jerome Horwitz Elementary's resident brown-noser. In fact, some eagle-eyed students notice that she even looks like him. But somehow, she acts extra resentful towards George Beard and Harold Hutchins, but she's especially extra resentful towards Melvin. Who is Lily? Why is she the way she is? After meeting two runaway monsters - Matt, a vampire, and Tom, a demon - in the middle of the woods and interviewing them, he believes that he's finally achieved what he's been longing for. He soon builds a closer bond with these monsters and sees them more as friends than stepping stones to please his parents. (This will include Tommatt & maybe some implied Tordedd)
