Along the way, they get sucked into a wormhole that traps Sonic and his friends into a mysterious realm called, "Cyberspace." Sonic escapes and finds himself on one of the islands. A mysterious voice calls to him and tells him to find the Chaos Emeralds, destroy the Titans, and tear down the walls between dimensions. Before Sonic could ask for questions, the mysterious voice sends Sonic a companion named, Athena. A mysterious woman who is supposedly an A.I. program. She lives on the Starfall Islands and knows the ins-and-outs. Unfortunately, almost all of her memory data was corrupted due to Cyberspace being shut down haphazardly. Together, Sonic and Athena will journey across the islands, rescue his friends, and discover a dark secret that could put Sonic's world at an unimaginable risk.
