Bucky remembered when he'd first started drafting in Steve's journal, when he'd first started taking note of every person he owed amends to, there had been one name he couldn't write down. It was shameful, yes, guilt-inducing, even more so. But he couldn't. Bucky couldn't document what could never be stricken, never be removed, never be undone.
