By age seven almost everyone gains an ability of some kind, those who don't, never will. The ungifted are the unwanted dregs of society, often abandoned or even killed in childhood. Harry Styles is ungifted, he is unwanted, and unloved. Having been abandoned as a small child, Harry has very little faith in the world. On the other end of the spectrum are the multi-gifted. The ungifted are few, but even fewer than them are the multi-gifted. Unlike the ungifted, the multi-gifted are coveted and cherished. They are the crown jewels of the world. Zayn Malik is multi-gifted. Zayn, whose sister and best friend are ungifted, wants to use his privilege to try to end the prejudice and make the world a equal place for the ungifted. Change is hard, change is slow, and it takes more than one voice to make a change.
