These are written as the first part of the follow up to Circle of Lies. Recommend reading the info chapter as it's pretty helpful, but it doesn't explain a whole lot about that. Someone commented something like "what could he do if we don't go back" when I first published Circle of Lies and that drove me down a rabbit hole that I've been stuck in for like a year.
