I will never forget when this was 1st place in salmon, biggest achievement i've ever made. This is a vampire au, the cliche vampire Techno and human Dream(or sometimes something else idk?) Now the context for the story, Dream, who is a former assassin finds himself living an usual life, this being the aftermath after retreating since the "incident" that scarred him so badly. Dre doesn't give much care for his body and has always done reckless things and he took massive risks which led him to paint his body in scars and always find himself on a hospital bed. He has always hated hospitals, he didn't even wanna be there and he'd get scolded because he leaves without being allowed to. Sally, a doctor his age which seems to be on the research for some sort of medicine finds interest in his magic recoveries and requests for a sample of his blood to search what could there be in it that would be useful. While that happens, Dream meets the well-known war criminal, Technoblade who happened to stumble in the hospital room, Sally just leaves the occupation of watching over Dream on Techno's hands since she needed to leave for the moment, and the both end up getting along. But the more they get closer, the harder it is to hide secrets, and the more overwhelming the unsaid words keep being chanted in their minds since they simply can't bring themselves to speak. The circumstances make their affection lessen, but once they got a taste, they'll never let go. I'd say this could very much be considered drama because the ship in this story really just confronts everyday problems and family arguments other than a greater problem like dealing with the end of the world or something.
