But as much as it excites her, it worries her. When Julian invites her over to his apartment, she knows right away that her life is going to take a whole different turn. This is set in the summer of 2003, (pre-"Room On Fire" era). (I hadn't read the book before I started writing this but there is a surprising amount of similarities between my story and @happylittlehelders "Wish I wasn't so shy" which was written way before this.
