And for a while it looked as if his vision had become true. The Sand and the Rain had become their closest ally whereas the Rock, the Cloud and the Mist remained neutral towards the Leaf. It wasn't perfect but it was good. And during all of that Kakashi greatest wish had become true. He had been finally reunited with his students, his family.
