This takes place after both season 1 and 2. Tom leaves a note for Jake apologizing but it's dangerous for them to date and he has to leave the city where jakes apartment is but every time when Tom is in Jake's town he leaves flowers and a note on Jake's front door and watches while Jake sees them.
