As time started to pass, Ninjas started using Toads, Dogs, Snakes, Slugs, and Birds to assist them and no longer summoned Ninja Cats/Foxes, leading these clans out of jobs causing them to evolve after time. One recurring thing started to pop up. Infants from these clans were born "Nekos" as they were called. To get rid of this effect, the Uchihas and Uzumakis started breeding with those from other clans. No longer had any reported sightings of "Nekos" had been found.
