Peridot could not be more nervous when she went off to college to study robotics, chemistry, biology... "that smart stuff", as her friend Jasper calls it. She's pretty tiny and a clean freak, and she didn't want a roommate, but here she was. Lapis, on the other hand, figures she can just blow through college and pursue the arts. Music, painting... heck, maybe even being a swim coach would work out for her. As she begins to walk up the stairs to her dorm building, she wonders what her roommate would be like. Hopefully not OCD like Pearl, her sister. That was a nightmare.

Two families from completely different backgrounds and origins, having only hatred towards each other. Until two opposite girls, Lapis and Peridot, start to fall in love.
