They say you can learn a lot from a book, but no book has taught me how to be a regular teenager. No book has taught me how to comfortably balance a social life and school, not to mention work. And no book has ever taught me how to successfully reel in a boy and keep him. But people...people can teach you things in ways books cannot. So when Diego Ruiz has to live in my house for a month because he's not trusted enough to stay alone at his own, I learn quite a lot from him, more than any book I've ever gotten my hands on. cover by wattpad user @authenticbot- warning: some swearing (kept to a minimum)

Willow's always been known as the good girl with the wealthy parents who could do no wrong. Little do they know that this seemingly perfect girl has some less than perfect secrets; and the fact that she's been sneaking out past curfew every night since the beginning of summer isn't the worst one. Distancing herself from the people at school has become lonely, but everything changes when a group of bad boys that she meets after curfew one night transfer to her school and begin to take an interest in her; one even more than the rest. But will they be able to protect her when events from her past re-surface and begin to get her into more trouble than she ever wanted? ********************** We were a circuit, electricity flowing through us at every connection, every light touch igniting a heat that was exhilarating but dangerous. Like we could catch fire and burn to the ground at any second. "Did you take your own advice? Did you ever forgive yourself?" I whispered, my words evaporating in the heat around us. He moved towards me, trapping me against the car door as his lips traced over my jaw, down to my neck. "This," he whispered, his thumb tracing the waistband of my jeans, making my breathing falter. "Allowing myself to feel this happiness, to feel you...this is me forgiving myself." He kissed me, calming the raging storm in me and igniting a new one. I wasn't sure which would cause more destruction, but I knew only one had pretty blue eyes and a effortless smile that could convince me it was all worth it. It probably was.

Explicit Context...18+ "There's no way out of this for her." he smirked allowing me a glimpse of his pearly teeth "Unless of course you take her place." he added his chilling blue eyes fixing on me "Take her place in the deal?" I asked stupidly He nodded, his lips spread further and his eyes narrowing to thin slits "A swap, your friend goes if you take her place in our deal. That means you must oblige to every rule we discussed, deal?" Glancing down at Olivia who stared up at her with pleading in those dark brown eyes I sighed in defeat, meeting the mysterious man's gaze she gave a small nod "Deal." *********** Harper has spent her whole life avoiding the dark world she was born in to and everything that had to do with it, that was until she met Kiev. Everything happens for a reason. It’s what Ioney Mercer tells herself whenever she pauses to think about the circumstances of her life. Why did her older brother die? Why did her mother leave her with five brothers and sisters to raise? Why did the only person she’d ever fallen in love with have to go? Because everything happens for a reason. Saying it was one thing. Believing it was another. And recently, the mantra had started sounding more like an annoying show tune that could easily be tuned out rather than the unfailing piece of truth she needed it to be. But then, one silly little saying could only get you so far when your life was on the line yet again. More importantly, it meant absolutely nothing when your family was being targeted as well. Things are starting to shake up in Chicago. Callahan Cordero has been released from prison. His first order of business: Revenge on the person responsible for putting him there. With nowhere to run or hide, Ioney has no choice but to engage the enemy head on. The only question left to ask is whether she will stand alone, or if help will come from the most unlikely of places.
