A how-to guide to writing a story. This help book will guide you through various points in writing from things to think about prior to writing and even after the end. Including a variety of resources including six lessons split between characters and grammar, this guide is a good place to start for new writers and a fresh place to start for those familiar with the craft. *I am by no means a professional when it comes to saying what is right and what is wrong. We are all different and so we adapt differently. That means that this book will not be for all of you. That is how things work. This novel is comprised of things that I have personally found to be effective and true when it comes to writing and desire to share it with the hope that it may help another who help-books do not often work for.*

There are hundreds of fantastic books about writing for hopeful authors to choose from, but most of them are boring, complicated, and bogged down by filler. This little book is brief, straight forward, and easy to understand. I hope it will serve as an easy-to-read manual to help serious writers perfect their craft. I should say right off the bat that I am NOT an expert; I forget my own tips all the time! However, I do know what generally works for me, so I thought I could pass it on to my friends at Wattpad. One last note: this book is for writers who have a basic understanding of grammar and story structure. If you’re interested in more fundamental steps you can take to write a great story, check out the companion to this book!

I'll show you how to improve your story with just a few tips and exercises. Writing a novel can be confusing, especially if you're new to it. Even if you're a pro at writing, it still helps to be refreshed. This is my way to help you. Hopefully it WILL help in your journey as a writer, and if you have questions, please ask me. I'll address topics such as: ~The five senses ~Believable characters ~Improving first drafts ~Plot twists ~Dialogue ~Descriptions ...And much more. Oh, and one more thing before you begin reading. I know there are a lot of chapters, and a ton of content, but don't overwhelm yourself! Try starting off with a couple topics you know you could improve on, work on those, and then read a couple more. If you read all of these chapters at once it may be a bit too much to take on! So take your writing journey as slow as you need, and work on it one step at a time.
