This, this was crossing the line. Winter knew they were bad, really bad. If he thought about it, he wouldn't put this below them. Still, it was wrong, it was evil. Qibli didn't deserve this, Qibli doesn't deserve any of what they put him through. Winter was ready. Ready to protect Qibli no matter what. So, I decided to write the cheesiest, most cliché Qinter fanfic possible. With me being terrible at writing, it shouldn't be a hard task. So yeah, this fanfic is some kind of parody. It is very likely you will cringe while reading this fanfic, because it's kinda its purpose. With that being said, have a good read (I guess).

Spoiler warning for Darkness of Dragons. NONE OF THE ART IS MINE (unless I say different). The characters - with a few exceptions as pointed out in the book - belong to Tui T. Sutherland. This is my first story on Wattpad, so it'll probably be cringy. I'm trying to connect two ideas into one story, so it might be a bit awkward at times. I apologize in advance if it's too much fluff [but what's a Qinter story without some fluff? ;)] (If you're not reading this on Wattpad or Ao3 it's been stolen and you should go to one of those two cites) Darkstalker has been defeated, and all is at peace in Pyrrhia. But just because Darkstalker is gone, doesn't mean that the huge NightWing didn't leave anything behind him. Winter finally agreed to return to Jade Mountain Academy, but things don't quite settle exactly like last time. Now, with no epic adventures to yank them away [Tsunami: THANK U], tensity settles on the scattered love lines among the students of JMA. But then a letter changes everything, and they only have to hope they can fix everything this time - including their tense relationship(s)!

Qibli was busy in the Sand Kingdom, after the whole fiasco with the prophesy, Darkstalker and saving the world, he needed something productive to spend his time doing, but every night he found himself thinking about one dragon: Winter. He wasn't even sure why his mind always wandered to questions like "What is he doing right now?" "What is he thinking?" and most importantly "What does he think about me? "Whenever his mind wandered to these questions he wanted to bury him self under the biggest dune in the dessert, for he new that it was ridiculous to think that the ex. prince on the Icewings (Who should have no problems getting a girl) would possibly have feelings for a scrappy Sandwing from the Scorpion Den. That would be insane Qibli told himself, but deep down he knew that he had feelings for Winter that coulden't be squashed by force, and much less by logic. Either way he had a job to; protect Queen Thorn and he couldn't just walk away from that. Right? The characters in this story don't belong to me they belong to Tui T. He would be attending Jade Mountain Academy, things would change wether or not Qibli wanted them to. Maybe they would change for a good reason, maybe it won't be so bad, maybe, just maybe.. Winter had never pleased his parents, in fact he was quite the disappointment. The plan was, to send him away to school, where he wouldn't be embarrassing his family. Winter definitely did not want to go, Icewings are the most superior of all the tribes, plus he was royalty, he should get a choice! Why should he have to share the same air as the other tribes!?
