This was so wrong, she's from a rival studio, but it just felt so right. I couldn't stop kissing her. It feels like my entire life I've been searching for something, and I've finally found it. I pulled away, rather reluctantly, by only a few centimetres so our foreheads were still touching, and stared at her. Her chocolate brown eyes fluttered open slowly, looking at me with this sense of innocence. "Is everything alright?" She asked softly, worry behind her voice. "I just had to make sure this was real." I whispered, watching a small smile grow on her face. Our lips connected again in a gentle, passionate kiss. "This. Is. So. Wrong." She mumbled in between kisses, as she breathed heavily. "What will everyone think?" She asked, pulling back. "Who cares?" I murmured, feeling the need to have our lips connected again. "Our teams." She whispered as I placed kisses along her jawline. "Screw them." I said, before pulling her in for another kiss, pushing her to lay down across the back seat of my car as I climbed on top. Thats how I got my girlfriend of almost a year. The only problem in our relationship, what if our parents find out?

James and Riley's relationship grows more serious, despite James juggling his new band, dance, and relationship. Meanwhile, Michelle meets John, a talented musician in James's band, and quickly forms a connection with him.

The fourth season of The Next Step brings huge changes not only for the show, also in the private lives of the actors. Brittany becomes really close to one of her co-workers. The rumours that she is in a relationship with someone who nobody expected start to be spread in the set and soon around the world, ending the hopes that Trittany would become real. Ironically, Trittany is in the line at the same time that Jiley is. How will Trevor react in this situation? Will he believe the rumours, will he realise that his feelings are not so different from his character's? Is his friendship with Brittany also in danger?
