Skylar Velcourt is betrothed to Lord Caspian Everus, sentenced to a political marriage she never asked for. They knew each other as children, and when they meet again after years apart, Skylar immediately despises him. She begs him to refuse the marriage. Caspian ignores her pleas out of duty. And so they marry, bound by politics, resentment, and a shared vow to keep their distance. Thrust from the warm gardens of Astros, to the cold fortresses of Xoras, Skylar struggles to adjust to her new life. Her marriage is a performance by day, and a battlefield in private. Skylar and Caspian try to destroy one another, with every glare and argument. Yet beneath the hostility lies something neither of them can explain or ignore. But when Skylar uncovers a truth far more terrifying than an unwanted marriage, everything changes. House Everus has plans for Skylar and her family; it was never about saving Astros, but about stealing it. But Skylar has no solid evidence, nor any allies. No one will believe her. If she speaks, if she runs, every path she takes will doom her parents and Astros, with it. Except one. Skylar must make her husband, Caspian Everus, fall in love with her. But affection is harder to fake than hatred. Even as the lines between act and reality begin to blur, and tensions rise between them, Skylar wonders if the man she vowed to hate can truly save her, or will he become her greatest threat of all?

If love is a crime, who serves its sentence? In the chaos of the 1900 Galveston hurricane, a wealthy Southern patriarch (Harry) secretly takes two infants, William and Anastasia, from a hospital to spare his wife (Sarah) the grief of another stillbirth. For years, it seems like the perfect crime, but when Will is drafted, and Anna nearly dies of the Spanish Flu, their bond transforms into something forbidden, and terrifying. As their love is slowly discovered, and the town turns against them, they must decide whether to lose each other, or lose everything for each other. When even their freedom is threatened, Harry must decide whether to let them go to prison, or admit his crime and go in their place. The Love They Couldn't Bury is a haunting historical romance about forbidden devotion, moral judgment, and the gray areas of the human heart. It's perfect for readers who enjoy: • Star-crossed lovers • Slow-burn romantic tension • War-shadowed coming-of-age stories • Historical fiction with psychological realism • Literary romance with moral complexity • Haunting love stories with metaphysical undertones The Love They Couldn't Bury is perfect for fans of Cold Mountain and Atonement. https://a.co/d/5sFldRj

Sun City is beautiful in the way things are when no one looks too closely. Once a year, the festival floods the streets with color, music, and masks. The rest of the time, life drifts quietly. People grow old here. No one leaves. Leaving isn't an option. Lately, though, people have been talking. Talk of the Outsiders is everywhere now. Golden-eyed, otherworldly beings, half rumor, half nightmare. They're said to lurk beyond the city walls, bending reality in ways people can't understand. SunTear soldiers insist they're dangerous and people believe them. But Silky doesn't know what's true. She's never seen an Outsider. But the stories keep changing, and none of them feel right. When a sudden discovery puts the most precious person in Silky's life in danger, everything snaps into focus. With time running out, Silky steals a SunTear uniform and steps into the heart of the city's protective force. She must blend in, survive, and uncover the truth before she is discovered. And every answer Silky uncovers hints at a deeper truth, the Outsiders may not be the real threat at all. The real danger has been inside the city all along, watching and waiting, more cunning than anyone realizes. Silky's only goal now is to uncover the truth and save the person she loves before it's too late.

"My story ends how it began: with the threat of eternity." Avia Sable did not ask for this. She was not the one who bargained away her soul in exchange for beauty, power, and invulnerability. No, that was all her mother's work. She did not ask to become a monster, but that is what she is now. "Witch" "Goddess" "Lich" "Vampire". These are the names people have given her, but the truest word for Avia is "alone." That is, until the Queen sends her a huntress, hoping to eradicate the Monster of the Hevamore for good. The huntress was always doomed to fail to take Avia's life, but she did take something else. Something that Avia never knew she had. Her heart. Still, though, there are those who will stop at nothing to ensure Avia's demise. But now, Avia has something to fight for, someone to protect. And when they come for her and her huntress, they'll learn just how much of a monster Avia really is. THIS STORY CONTAINS REFERENCES TO OLD CHRISTIAN THEOLOGY, INCLUDING DEMONS, THE DEVIL, AND HELL. IF YOU DO NOT WISH TO READ THESE IN CONNECTION WITH THE OCCULT OR IN A NARRATIVE WAY, THIS STORY IS NOT FOR YOU. THANK YOU!

This is what is written when a broken girl finds the strength to pick up the pen and write everything on her mind. Most of the poems written have no structure. Some weren't edited. This is just everything I wish I could've said, instead I bottled it all up inside. Some poems are angry, some poems are sad, some poems are hopeful. I've tried my best but I'll never be the best at poetry. Read as much as you like, I'll be updating this *hopefully* every month.
