She was my 6th grade teacher and was the very first person I ever met who made me feel like I could do something. That I wasn't just some useless freak. Sadly, the summer after my 6th grade year, she died in a car accident near my house. I will never forget her and still cheerish her memory to this day. (I do all my own art.
