This is a story about the three years that Lloyd was in a coma after Harumi took their son Ryder and is now torturing him. The whole time he could hear everything in that hospital room, but no one could hear him. He couldn't warn anybody about his son being in danger. Could he wake up before it's too late?

Unknowing of his family, Lloyd grew up with one thought: Hurt others before they hurt you. Will the discovery of his ancestry change his ways, or drive him further away. This story follows Lloyd growing up in Darkley's Boarding school For Bad Boys (and beyond)

The Smith siblings, Kai and Nya, together with their little foster brother, Lloyd, try to survive their difficult life with their abusive foster parent. They live far from everything, have little to no personal possessions, and lead difficult lives as their guardian's source of income. All they have is each other. One day, just as things start to become unbearable in the siblings' lives, an old sensei comes to meet the three siblings and makes them an all too intriguing offer. He gives them the chance to a new life. How will the siblings cope with the drastic transition from being neglected in an abusive household to living in a peaceful monastery amongst kind and caring people? How will their broken mindsets and crippling fears affect them and their parts in a prophecy? Myths in fact. But only a few know that these elemental masters at real. The main elements are Ice, Fire, Lightning, Water and Earth. There are more elements, but the most powerful element is Energy. The prophecy. The Green Ninja. The prophecy of the Green Ninja, everyone knows about it. The destined one to defeat the Dark Lord, Lord Garmadon. Some people believe the Green Ninja is them, others think the prophecy is fake, and others hope that the chosen one is a warrior. One day in high school, 2 new students are there. Their last name's are what makes everyone fear them. Even hate them. Their last name is Garmadon, like the evil Lord Garmadon. One of the boys full name is Lloyd Montgomery Garmadon, and the other boy's full name is Morro Montgomery Garmadon, they both have no friends, until they meet 5 teens. They all have a unbreakable friendship bond. Later on, weird things start to happen at school. From unexpected earthquakes, to the whole school freezing in ice. What is going on? Who is the Green Ninja? Is the prophecy real? Will love bloom somewhere in a period of time for certain teens?

What if Harumi's parents hadn't died from the Great Devourer? What if her birth parents were the Emperor and Empress of Ninjago? How would it play out? How would her story play out? Life had broken Harumi. Just as it had broken Lloyd. If they had gotten together, would their pieces become whole? "Why do you have to do this to me?!" Harumi shrieked. "You are a princess; you wear many masks," Halt said. "I want you to feel the emptiness that I felt," her father roared. "when I lost your mother, Harumi. Instead of you breaking me, I will break you."
