Summary
When his once-powerful family collapses under a mountain of debt, Bollywood star Sidharth Malhotra is forced into a shocking arrangement-marry the youngest heir of a billionaire household, Parl, in exchange for financial salvation. Expecting an arrogant rich brat, Sidharth instead finds a soft-spoken 19-year-old living with a childlike innocence due to psychological trauma from a past deeply scarred. Parl laughs easily, cries suddenly, trusts too quickly, and fears the world like it might break him, leaving Sidharth painfully aware that Parl's parents never wanted a husband for their son-only a permanent caretaker, a shield, a convenient guardian.
What begins as reluctant responsibility slowly changes as Sidharth lives beside Parl's fragile, pure world: the silly jokes, spontaneous smiles, unexpected loyalty, and astonishing kindness start to seep into his guarded heart. Protectiveness grows into tenderness; tenderness grows into something he's terrified to name. As he learns Parl's buried fears, forgotten pain, and hidden brilliance, Sidharth realizes he doesn't just want to care for him-he wants to stand beside him, help him heal, and teach him to choose life and happiness on his own terms.
But love here isn't simple or romanticized. Sidharth must confront society's judgment, the family's expectations, and his own conscience to ensure his feelings never exploit Parl's vulnerability. The story becomes a slow-burn journey of emotional healing, trust, dignity, and the question: Can love exist when one heart is still learning how to grow? Or will Sidharth prove that love isn't possession-it's protection, patience, and the courage to let someone bloom?
