With exactly a year until Percy's coronation, he knows that he soon, will have to deal with Athena's insufferable daughter, Annabeth Chase, Princess of Athens, but he thought he still had a year left. When his parents tell him that they have found him a wife, he isn't surprised. Arranged marriages are very popular in Grecian monarchies. But when they say that Annabeth Chase is going to be his new wife, he seriously thinks that this is all a practical joke. But no, Crete and Athens are finally ready to put their feud to an end. Between work, college, and caring for their children, they find some difficulties in their lives. Percy and Annabeth are trying to enjoy their life together, but things aren't always that easy...

Prequel to "Of New Life" in which Percy and Annabeth enjoy the end of the war and move forward with life. Together, they finally settle down together into a more domesticated lifestyle. Pivotal Percabeth moments come into this. Read the rest to find out :)

Percy gets injured during a training session and needs to be taken to the infirmary. While there, Will Solace insists that Percy remove his shirt so Will can treat his wound properly. Percy refuses to take off his shirt, and freaks out. In that moment, everybody learns something new about the heroic demigod that no one, not even Annabeth, knew.
