When you look at a piece of art, what do you see? How do you feel? What do you imagine the artist was thinking when they painted that picture? What actually was happening when they painted that picture? I delve into my imagination to recreate the scene that brings the brush stroke to life. Constructive criticism and suggestions welcome.

Curious about art and don't know where to start? Join me as I learn about the major art movements from A-Z! There are indeed more than one in some letters (looking at you letter P) but sticking to one movement per letter (though I may add a section to include what other movements fall under that letter). Questions are answered on what is it? How did it originate? And I'll list some of the famous artists from around the world. Author's Note: This is actually supposed to be like an art picture book like you see in Art stores with each subject being it's own page with a relevant artwork (I plan to make a physical copy). I'll put a picture in the banner. ***Completed*** Constructive criticism appreciated. And if you know anything about creative commons law/copyright law, i'd love to ask you some questions!

According to National Geographic, the world is 4.54 billion years old, so there are plenty of stories to tell. I totally recommend giving this a go. I might not be able to complete every day and the stories will be unedited. Goal will be to have 365 stories. Hopefully with time, my skill will improve and the tales more captivating. I'm trying to be more creative and set myself to try and write a short story, poem, play, etc. At the top of each page is the Wikipedia Entry from the line I chose from the Wikipedia page. It could be an event, birth, death, etc. Sometimes it has been hard to choose just one topic, so maybe a second book will be in the works! Each chapter is going to be inspired by an actual event that happened on that day from a moment in history. Some I will try and be factual and others I'll add fiction. I've found that I do get wrapped up in my research sometimes (e.g., The life of Jean Parisot De Valette is fascinating!) and I spend hours completing it to formulate my story. I won't reference in every story if it comes directly from the resources on the Wikipedia page. The genre is going to vary story to story. E.g., movie stars vs Warlocks. The chapter name gives the date and simplified title of the subject. Any suggestions would be appreciated! I've created a separate page of the month (e.g., titled 'February'). This will list all the stories and their summaries, just in case you want to skim through and find a particular story you are interested in.
