Lan Xichen is the picture of perfection-wealthy, composed, and the CEO of one of the most powerful corporations in the world. With a sharp mind and a flawless track record, he's respected by all. Yet beneath the luxury suits and polished image, he's quietly drowning in monotony, craving something real in a life that's grown too quiet. Lan Wangji, his younger brother, is a decorated police officer known for his unwavering dedication to the law. Cold-eyed and righteous, he sees the world in black and white. Criminals must be caught. Rules must be followed. Feelings? They're distractions. But even his iron-clad morals will be tested when his next case leads him somewhere unexpected. Jiang Cheng is a struggling artist by day and sometimes a reluctant thief by night. Bitter at the world and even more bitter at himself, he paints to feel alive and steals to survive. He's tired-of trying, of hoping, of everything. But something keeps pulling him forward. Then there's Wei Wuxian-infamous and untouchable. A master thief with a wicked grin and a talent for vanishing without a trace. His charm masks secrets no one's managed to uncover, and behind the laughter lies someone who's been running for far too long. Their lives were never meant to intersect-but fate, chaos, or something stranger draws them into each other's orbits. Loyalties will be tested. Lines will blur. And as pasts unravel and truths come to light, each of them must face one question: What are you willing to lose to finally feel alive? Who's the shadow and who's the light? Who's black and white?

In an AU LGBTQ+ accepting Camelot, anybody can love anybody. King Arthur throws a Ball to try and find a romantic companion among his kingdom to make his Queen or King Consort. His manservant Merlin is overrun with chores, but finds a way to attend, though he's too embarrassed to go as himself.
