One night, Shadow receives a text from an anonymous source who knows too much about him. Although finding it creepy, he is isnt allowed to say a word due to fear and many threats.. Basically just a traumatized Sonic that is friends with Shadow in secret, but in public they act like rivals just to make up for it later everytime. Shadow ends up losing Sonic one day, and Shadow is never seen again.

Old threats are rearing their heads, the world is on the brink of destruction, and Shadow's very being is becoming something he doesn't recognize. Yet all he can think about are questions that aren't even relevant to the rising threat. When had he stopped hating every appearance of royal blue or when that annoying voice called out his name? When did he start looking forward to the sparring, the races, the constant push and pull of their dynamic? When did he start appreciating that the hedgehog existed? Why did those feelings change to this disgusting content that Shadow didn't know what to name?

After Shadow's death of sacrifice himself, his husband, Sonic, still sticks to his hero deeds but feels lost of his husband. Dr. Eggman decided to create a lifeform that has a memory of Shadow but in fact, a cyborg. No feelings nor love. So Sonic will try to convince Shadow back to his supposed to be but at the same time, will try to destroy everything that sonic has under the control of Dr. Eggman.
