🔞 She was so busy that she didn't notice the bedroom door opening behind her. Arjun stepped out, running a hand through his messy morning hair. He stopped when he saw her. For a moment, he simply watched. His sleepy eyes slowly turned mischievous. He walked toward her quietly. Before she could realize he was there, his arms slipped around her waist and pulled her gently toward him. She widened her eyes. "What?" He leaned closer with a teasing smile. "You are tempting me in the morning, bujjamma." She immediately tried to turn back toward the stove. "Leave me, Arjun. I'm getting late. The children will wake up any time soon. I have to make them ready for school, and then I have to-" "What did you call me?" She stopped. Her heart skipped. Slowly, she looked at him. "I... I mean..." Arjun raised an eyebrow, waiting. She swallowed nervously. "I didn't mean anything..." His expression became even more playful. "What did you say?" She tried to escape his hold. "Arjun... no, no... bavaa. Leave me. We're getting late." He laughed softly at her sudden change of words. "Good girl." She gave him an annoyed look. "Bavaa, please. We really are getting late." He shook his head, still teasing her. "You know you have punishment for that." Her eyes widened. "Punishment? For what?" "For calling me something you shouldn't." "I didn't-" Before she could finish, he gently took her hand and began leading her toward the other room. "Bavaa!" "Come on. We have a lot of other things to take care of too." "But the breakfast!" "I'll handle it." "The children!" "They're still sleeping." "Bavaa, please..." He opened the door and looked back at her with that familiar mischievous smile. She sighed, realizing she wasn't going to win the argument. The door slowly closed behind them. And for the next few minutes, the breakfast-and the morning rush-could wait. Kavya didn't know what it meant to compromise. As the pampered granddaughter of the powerful Hegde family, she grew up having every single whim served on a silver platter. Breathtakingly beautiful, spoiled to the core, and utterly fearless, her word was absolute law. She believed only a remarkably handsome, exceptionally good-looking man was worthy of standing next to a beauty like her. But her blind arrogance cost her dearly when a reckless scheme to trap a handsome man backfired disastrously behind closed doors. To protect the Hegde family honor from total ruin, her parents swept her shameful attempt under the rug. And to keep the scandal buried forever, they decided to hastily marry her off-deliberately hiding the ugly truth of what she did from the world. The unsuspecting man her family chose was Dhruva Gowda. At 26, Dhruva was the exact opposite of the fair, handsome man Kavya envisioned. A self-made farmer who took charge of his family after losing his father young, Dhruva possessed a broad-shouldered, athletic build forged by years of real labor, and a deep, sun-baked dark complexion from working under the open sky. Defined by iron discipline, responsibility, and unyielding self-respect, he was a man of principles who had earned his land and dignity through pure sweat. His family welcomed the Sarpanch's granddaughter with pride, completely blind to the dark secret she brought into their home. She is forced to marry a dark-skinned farmer she never wanted, holding onto her ego while hiding a truth that could destroy her new life. Two completely opposing worlds tied by a secret-until the truth finally demands its price.

Prologue: "I don't need anything from you... just stay away from me," she said, her voice trembling but fierce. He laughed, a low, dangerous sound. "Do you really think I'll walk away after knowing you're carrying my child? Never, Anjali. Not in this lifetime." His eyes burned with a mix of rage and something deeper... something she didn't want to name. "You trapped me, didn't you?" she snapped. "Just to make me stay with you." "Think whatever you want," he said, stepping closer. "I don't care. But right now... you're getting into the car." "Never. Not with you again," she hissed, spinning on her heel and walking away. But patience was never his strength. In one swift motion, he closed the distance, scooped her into his arms - bridal style - and placed her inside the car. Her fists hit his chest, her anger spilling through every breath. "Don't even try, Anjali..." he murmured dangerously close to her ear. "I don't know what I'll do if you don't stop refusing me... maybe," he leaned closer, voice dropping to a whisper, "I might just fuck you here itself." Her heart skipped a beat. His breath was warm. The air around them burned with tension. Reconciling herself, she snapped back, "Do you think I'll let you touch me again, After want you have done to me? Not in this lifetime."
