The moment everything changed was the moment Doma felt something within him. His chest was not hollow - his heart was not still... not anymore. Something in him stirred and he felt a small twinge of his lungs, filling him with foreign warmth. Suddenly, the world was vibrant, and at the center of it was her. She was called Kotoha, a young woman with dark hair, deep beautiful eyes, and a truly lilting voice that seemed to soothe the heavens in its softness. Doma was transfixed. The baby in her arms suddenly didn't seem so annoying in its cooing and her smile didn't seem fake as he assumed most were. The day everything changed was the day Doma smiled for the first time. WARNING: Contains death, gore, reference to SA, trauma, blood, foul language, and angst. There will be more specific TW on chapters that handle heavier topics but these are the main ones. WARNING: Also contains a reformed Doma, a redemption for Akaza (with some romance included), Inosuke gets a family, Kotoha gets to be happy, Daki and Gyutaro get to heal, Genya and Sanemi WILL communicate eventually, Uzui is vibin', Kanae gets to L I V E, Tamayo gets some motherly recovery, Kokushibo has an existential crisis, Nezuko will eventually get some character development, Muzan is TICKED, and life is good... mostly. Also, Kotoha adopts... everyone. Just... everyone. I don't own Demon Slayer (Kimetsu no Yaiba) or any of the art! Yes, I am aware most spellings spell Doma's name as Douma; no I'm not changing it no we're too far gone. March 17, 2023.. The day of reckoning that has fallen into this world, whoever created this event surely wants our existence to cease.. I dont know who they are, I don't know what they are, they're creatures that look like humans. But they tamed steel itself forging iron warships that radiates fear and destruction, war machines unlike any other. Just.. who are they? Are they even human.. I cant explain what sort of atrocities have i seen, men die gruesomely, more violent than any war i have ever witnessed. Gore flies out of the mangled corpses of the fallen, and yet despite all dead the destruction still reigns, its horrifying to say the least.. i fear that whoever awakened this sleeping giant.. has filled it.. with terrible.. terrible.. resolve.. By the gods.. make my soul rest easy from this hell on earth, as i take account for my sins.. We need the war to end, before the war will end us.. Disclaimer: this is a fanfic of the story Gate: Thus the JSDF Fought there. Expect it not to be 100% original.

A mysterious, ancient-looking gate appeared in Washington, D.C., sometime in the 21st century. From the gate poured out monsters, knights from medieval Europe, and other fantasy-like beings, and they began a systematic slaughter of the citizens of the U.S. capital, laying siege to the White House. For the first time since the War of 1812, the streets of the United States became a battlefield. Due to their unrestrained arrogance, the Empire of Sadera immediately sought to claim the lands on the other side of the gate. However, they would soon realize just how inferior their own military truly was. Once the U.S. military mobilized, they attacked the invaders with their advanced technology, forcing only a thousand of them to retreat while killing or capturing the rest. This unprovoked attack on U.S. soil, not seen since September 11th, 2001, would be known as the "Washington Incident." In retaliation, the U.S. government sends the United States Marine Corps to the alternate world beyond the gate, thus beginning the American-Saderan War. We will follow certain groups of people from both the nations of Earth and the kingdoms of Falmart to set the stage for the bloodiest conflict Falmart has ever seen.

Summoning America version 1 has been discontinued. I may produce a completely new story but with the same title, some time in the future. in the meantime, please check out my other works on RoyalRoad by googling "Manifest Fantasy" or "Arcane Exfil" -- -- Entirely cut off from Earth, the United States finds itself in a scientific impossibility: the entire country, including the continental landmass and separated states and territories, was transported to another world. Unlike Earth, this new planet boasts phenomena unknown to science. Magic reigns supreme in this new region of the universe, bolstered by the natives' own scientific progression. Monsters roam wastelands and dungeons, subsisting off unfortunate travelers, local fauna, and sometimes even entire towns! Ambassador Samuel Anders is tasked with contacting the various nations and entities of this new world. Despite his best attempts at diplomacy, the arrogance and hostility of the natives prove to be an unnavigable barrier. War is the only alternative. Eventually, fears surface regarding an ancient evil: the Ravernal Empire. How will the United States handle the threats of this new neighborhood? What magical wonders will its adventurous citizens find? This Summoning Japan (Nihonkoku Shoukan) inspired work will follow the United States as it is summoned to a Elysia. TARGET AUDIENCE: If you enjoy GATE or are otherwise interested in seeing how modern armies and technologies interact with less advanced societies, you'll enjoy this story. This story also features quality grammar and writing, with minimal typos and errors.
