Tara Krueger has a past filled with dysfunction and grief, and she absolutely hates the new band, 5 Seconds of Summer. Her best friends, however, are completely obsessed with them. Tara's best friends, Hannah Johnson and Kim Dallas, would do anything to meet the 5sos boys, whereas Tara has absolutely no interest in them. However, when Tara is accidentally acquainted with the boys, they will have an adventure unlike any other.
