Poems are works of humans that express intense emotion through writing. There's technology like computers to write these books, and poems nowadays, but the older way of doing it was either using a typewriter, or handwriting it. While handwriting is more genuine, it can lead to hand cramps if you write for too long of periods. So they often resorted to these typewriters.
