#Book 2 In The Legacy Series. Her Commander is a high-stakes, enemies-to-lovers story that follows Officer Fatima Tariq Darwish, a fearless, rule-breaking cop, and Commander Ayzan Khalid Omari, a stoic, no-nonsense SWAT leader. __ She was never meant to survive him. He was never meant to feel anything at all. In the unforgiving world of Nigeria's elite SWAT force, rules are law-and Commander Muhammad Ayzan Omari is the law. Feared, respected, and emotionally unreachable, Ayzan leads with ruthless precision. No one dares challenge him-until Officer Fatima Darwish lands in his unit like a loaded gun with no safety. Hot-tempered. Scarred. Defiant. Fatima doesn't just break rules-she dares authority to break her. Transferred after punching her corrupt superior, she's trapped between the chaos of her home life and the cold war brewing between her and her commander. What starts as brutal training and psychological warfare spirals into something neither of them planned-a twisted, magnetic pull between two people who should never touch, trust, or want each other. He tests her limits. She pushes his buttons. And somewhere between discipline and destruction, control begins to crack. This isn't a romance. It's obsession in uniform. A love story born in gunfire, silence, and stolen glances. And in this world? Love doesn't save you. It exposes you. As missions turn deadlier and secrets unravel, Fatima must decide: will she run from the man who terrifies her-or trust the only person who's ever seen through her armor?

"If the world had only you, it would be enough, until it wasn't" -Anwar Hussein Hakimi. "Racing the limits, until I'm no more" -Karima Aliyu Arqam. *** The closets you can get to the definition of a perfect life is probably Anwar Hakimi's life. His wife was lovely, his children adorable, and his life content. When fate catapulted Karima Aliyu into his life, he had the best plan; provide for her, and that's it. He saw her as nothing but the little sister in their family gang. Until-one stolen kiss at a time-she wasn't. *** Karima stopped expecting much from life since her father denied her cousin sister's involvement in theft, yet said it was something she could do. Her life wasn't exactly rocky, at least not materialistically. She had her siblings and her family gang, so things really weren't complicated. Until she had to marry Anwar, one of her best friend's husband, then all hell broke loose. *** This is a work of fiction, I don't push or support any ideas or opinions of the characters in the book, all pictures belong to their respective sources.

"And We have made some of you a trial for others. Will you ˹not then˺ be patient?" The first time I read this ayah in surah Furqaan, I had no idea it defined my future so clearly. ********** Hafiz Hakimi;- A 26-year-old Nigerian-American who grew up believing those who worshipped something they couldn't see were crazy motherfuckers. But it wasn't like he would go out of his way to tell them his opinion. His life was perfect, a routine of work, party, fuck, sleep, and repeat. His only source of annoyance was the woman whose vagina he popped out of, but even she was very far away from him. Life was good, everything was great. Until one fateful trip to Nigeria, his home country, set off a tornado that wrecked his mundane to pieces. Aliya Suleiman;- A 22-year-old hafiza whose only goal was to finish studying medicine, the devil's course. She only planned to get married after making her first million dollars, a feat her best friend Jasra said was impossible. She wasn't offended of course, because she never planned to get married. And if she did, it would be to someone more pious than her, mature and respectful; indulging. But then the one person she couldn't say no to begged her with tears in her eyes to marry her son. She was the woman who raised her and provided for her mother and her. There was no way she could refuse. It was the worst thing to have ever happened to both of them. A sudden downpour on an otherwise clear sunny day. He wasn't anywhere near the kind of man she imagined herself with. She was the woman raised by the person he hated the most. It was basically a recipe for disaster. She saw him as a way to repay a favour. He wanted to use her to get revenge. And as such, the stage was set and the curtains lifted. ___ ⚠️⚠️⚠️: UPDATES ON MONDAYS AND THURSDAYS ___ 🚨 This is entirely a work of fiction.
