At a company party Tony meets a handsome stranger, they take interest in each other and soon fall in love. Years later Tony is called to be apart of the avengers, when he realised the man they are fighting is the same man he fell in love with years ago.

Clint's fist hit the wall with surprising strength, considering he had spent the last few days fighting robots. He instantly regretted the decision and crumbled down to his knees, forehead hitting the wall. He cradled his hand and mentally punched himself in the face. His muscles ached and the cuts on his arms stung and his eyes hurt and his heart was heavy. You might be wondering why all of this pain was happening to our poor main character. Well, Clint Barton saw his responsibility die right in front of his very own eyes.

This universe is a bit different from the one we all know and love. In this particular universe, Pietro does get shot in Sokovia, but he doesn't die. He does however, lose his ability to run or use his speed in any useful way. He can't be an Avenger, but he does his best to do what he can to help. The other Avengers don't noticed how hard he tries, but Loki sure does.
