Short Chenford Fanfic. Tim and Lucy's thoughts in Wesley's living room, Jackson's death, and an ending that will not satisfy people looking for the relationship I so desperately want with these two LOL I wrote this before the season 4 premier came out (which will be obvious). Lucy is a teacher. Tim is a sergeant. She meets him at a coffee shop early one morning. It is almost love at first sight. Not that Tim would ever admit it out loud. After a string of bad relationships, Lucy still believes in true love. But, a lingering threat of an ex-boyfriend complicates things. All Tim has ever wanted was a wife, children, the white picket fence, and a dog. However, with his crazy work hours and dangerous job, it is not easy meeting anyone. Throw in a disastrous first marriage, and Tim has pretty much given up on his childhood dream. Enter the Mid-Wilshire family. They practically adopt Lucy and Tamara into their family and scheme to get the two most oblivious people together. Just a fair warning - the characters will be OOC. Just saying.
