This is a rewrite of my story "I'll save you." Yoriichi finds a magical crystal and when he touches it he gets teleported to the past, right where the demon king he had fought days before was... only difference is, he was a human. Present demon slayer time. When Yoriichi found out that Uta wasn't his soulmate he didn't care, he felt bad for his soulmate but he was in love with Uta... until she died. Yoriichi didn't want to find his soulmate after that. Maybe because he was scared of losing someone he loved again... or he just loved Uta too much. If soulmates come in psychical contact with eachother, whether that be bumping into someone or a handshake. Then they will feel a spark and their soulmate mark will glow.

Kokushibo. That was the name with which everyone knew him. No one asked ever for his last name, neither his real name. Getting involved into someone's life or past was a distraction, an act of disrespect and completely inappropriate for their workspace, at least that's what he thought. Douma always tryied to befriend with everyone there. He loved having long conversations and sharing with everyone he knew every detail of his life. This annoyed many people. But it didn't annoy Kokushibo. For some reason, he enjoyed every momment that Douma was talking to him. He hated to, but he couldn't help listening for hours how Douma could talk about his life, his feelings, his thoughts. Kokushibo usually avoided any type of social interaction unless it was work stuff, and in the eyes of other members of the mafia, it was weird that he preferred listening a two-hours monologue of anything Douma had to say than a one-minute small talk. Kokushibo didn't understand himself either. He always wondered why he liked to listen so bad. He rarely talked, so when he was with Douma, he talked for both of them. The fact that he didn't feel annoyed stressed him. Why did he had such a preference on Douma? Why couldn't him talk a little bit more? Why didn't he understand his own feelings? This preference had becomed annoying and weird for other workers, they didn't actually know what to do; Should them just let Kokushibo be?
