How do you build a future with someone who never planned to have one?
Dorothea Agape Herman never believed in the idea of tomorrow. At twenty years old, her life is just a plain, repetitive cycle of school, part-time work, and sleep. Raised in an orphanage without a real surname or a certain birthday, she grew up knowing that nothing in this world truly belonged to her.
She knew that death is near. That anytime she could die... she doesn't see herself living for long. She isn't suicidal, she is just completely detached from life. She was perfectly content to live quietly, and die entirely alone.
Until... she met him.
The man that would live with her and the uncertainties. The man who was willing to step into the darkness of her blurry world and make it his home.
Kyrios Yves Alfeche was everything Dorothea was trying to avoid-certain, loud, and painfully alive. As an engineer and the long-haired drummer of the rising band Atlas, he had a bright future, a wealthy political family, and a life of absolute freedom. He had every reason to look forward to tomorrow.
He lives with purpose while she stays stuck in her own routine.
But Kyrios chooses to step into her life anyway. He accepts her completely, just the way she is. To prove his love, he decides to get a vasectomy-showing her that he wants a life with her, fears and all, for the rest of their days. He is ready to give her the universe and give her a reason to look forward to tomorrow.
But will she let him stay? Or will she keep him locked outside her walls forever?
