And it was no secret everyone hated him. Years later, after he ate the apple, Nightmare still suffers from mental illnesses. In fact things have only gotten worse for him. What will happen if someone in Nightmare's crew finds out about his mental demons? Will they tell the others? More importantly will they tell Dream? Nightmare has grown weary of the constant strife between himself and his brother. What if the corruption that invaded Nightmare's mind after eating the apples disappeared? When he woke up after a long sleep Nightmare found himself in a place he didn't know. He couldn't sense his brother or mother anymore and was covered in some weird goo. The last thing he remembers was the fight he had with the villagers that wanted the apples.
